With face masks and gloves being used by many people throughout the UK as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and recent UK Government advice, businesses now need to provide a means of safely disposing of PPE.  

The government advice requires that businesses provide extra bins for staff, visitors and customers to dispose of this PPE. This advice also confirms the option to dispose of PPE via the offensive waste stream using yellow bags with black stripes and states that recycling these used items is not possible.
