Air Purification System - Air Pure - Air Purifiers | Initial UK

Keeping your air pure with the right air purifiers can really help washroom hygiene. Unpleasent odour in your washroom gives the impression of poor hygiene and can affect people's view of your organisation. Despite rigorous and regular cleaning, smells can linger. the primary source of these odours is the bacteria present which need to be controlled by the air purification system.
Working in partnership with Biozone Scientific, worldwide leaders in air cleaning technology, Initial has developed Air Pure, a unique air purification system that eradicates bacteria and combat unpleasant odours in the washroom.
Using a combination of 5 sterilising techniques, the air steriliser controls contamination and destroys bacteria both in the air and on washroom surfaces. The Air Pure transmits ozone, photoplasma, and negative ions to combat bacteria, energise oxygen, and remove airborne impurities and dust.

The most serious knock-on effect of bacteria and bad odours in washrooms is a spread of disease amongst users which can lead to illness and increased employee absenteeism.
Working with Biozone Scientific, worldwide leaders in air cleaning technology, we have developed this unique solution to eradicate bacteria and combat unpleasant odours in the washroom.
Using a combination of 5 sterilising techniques, the Air Steriliser controls contamination and destroys bacteria both in the air and on washroom surfaces.
Ozone - Eliminates bacteria viruses, moulds and micro- organisms.
Photoplasma - A highly reactive and energised oxygen, disinfects the air.
Negative ions - Increases the efficiency of the process, removes airborne impurities and dust.
Germicidal Light (UV) - Eliminates bacteria, viruses, moulds and micro-organisms.
Photo-catalytic oxidation - Breaks down Volatile Organic Compounds, such as Methane.
Agar plates incubated at 37 degrees C for 48 hours for air samples taken in a sealed room (Series 1): sample taken a) prior to an 18-hour Air Steriliser run; b) Air Steriliser switched off and air circulation fan in operation for on hour.

Investigations carried out at University College Dublin showed that the described technology operated safely and effectively within the operating conditions specified and showed a 70% reduction in the number of micro-organisms in air samples taken.

The air in the washroom can be contaminated by multiplying bacteria, the presence of ammonia from the breakdown of urine and also the organic smells produced by users. This can spread diseases amongst washroom users if not controlled.
