Hampshire Schools Appoint Eden Foodservice

Eden Foodservice has been awarded contracts by three schools in Hampshire worth more than £1.5 million. Under the four-year agreements, Eden Foodservice will provide a range of catering services for students, staff, visitors and community users at Brighton Hill Community College, Portchester Community School and Hounsdown School.

Nissan Increases Recycling at Car Production Plant

Nissan is recovering greater levels of waste materials at its car production plant in Sunderland as a result of a groundbreaking waste picking facility. The innovative solution developed and operated in partnership with Initial Industrial Services and Northumbria Recycling Ltd has increased annual waste recovery of recyclable materials by 30 per cent and reduced waste disposal cost by as much as £70,000 per year.

The DCSF Selects autograph for £9 Million Catering Contract

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has awarded a four-year contract to autograph worth £9 million for the provision of a catering solution across its four headquarters’ buildings. Under the agreement, autograph will provide a full range of catering services at the DCSF sites including its main office facility in London.

Bristol City Council Awards Increased Schools Catering Contract to Eden Foodservice

The success of a catering operation at 126 schools within the Bristol area has prompted Bristol City Council to increase its contract with Eden Foodservice, part of Initial Facilities Services, to include an additional 10 primary schools. The local authority has taken the decision due to the quality of service already provided by Eden Foodservice across the region, which has resulted in the uptake of meals at some schools increasing by more than 10 per cent.
