Rentokil Initial cleans-up on Lloyds TSB ATMs

Lloyds TSB, one of the UK’s leading banks, has awarded the sanitising and cleaning services of its entire ATM estate to Rentokil IT Hygiene, part of the Rentokil Initial group.

The contract will see a team of dedicated ATM hygienists ensuring the hygienic and clean appearance of Lloyds TSB ATMs using specialist products that not only kill germs, but also remove the built up of dirt and grime that may stop the machine from working properly.

Rentokil IT Hygiene will also be introducing some of its unique innovations including a dedicated Lloyds TSB Quality Management Reporting system.

The system communicates via a dedicated website which includes digital photographs uploaded in real time and a full survey report that identifies security risks, disability access, current working condition, damage, and any actions relating to each ATM.

In London, ATMs will be serviced by dedicated hygienists on scooters. This innovative solution provides an efficient and effective way to beat the capital’s traffic congestion and parking problems, whilst also supporting Rentokil Initial’s overall environmental objectives.

Speaking on the contract award, Graham Thwaites, Managing Director from Rentokil IT Hygiene said: “By ensuring that we provide a quality, dedicated and consistent service, we aim to give Lloyds TSB not only ATMs that are regularly sanitised and cleaned but also support the high levels of customer service which their customers expect”.
