The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2004 (sometimes referred to as ADR) govern the movement of clinical waste. You can rest assured that all transport operations carried out by Initial medical services, regardless of whether the clinical waste is hazardous or offensive, have been thoroughly assessed by trained personnel and comply with the extensive requirements of these regulations.
Importantly, this includes the carriage of dangerous goods requirement is that all drivers involved in the carriage of dangerous goods are ADR-trained.
