Initial Medical Services acquires Sweden Recycling AB
In August 2010, Initial completed the acquisition of Sweden Recycling AB (SRAB) to further enhance the range of products it has for the dental industry.
SRAB was established in 1982 with the introduction of an innovative amalgam separator and suction system to the Swedish market. The SRAB 99D, which conforms to EN ISO 11143, was launched into the market in 2006. The SRAB 99D works on the sedimentation principle and removes more than 99% of dental amalgam from the waste water.
The SRAB range of suction systems are sold throughout the world via distributors. In addition, the Recyclean range of disinfectant products has provided cleaning solutions for dental practices throughout Scandinavia.
Initial Medical Services are now able to offer customers high quality dental products, environmentally sensitive dental disposal in accordance with the regulations and a market leading waste management services.
