The Challenge

Xerox operates at the cutting edge of photocopier and office support technology in a very competitive marketplace. To maintain its position as a dynamic world class business its facilities management services must match this, being equally dynamic and world class.

Xerox made the decision to tender total facilities management in 2002, through a competitive e-bid process. Prospective providers were required to demonstrate an understanding of the client's business and culture, and to highlight opportunities for reducing costs whilst maintaining service quality.

The Solution

Initial Facilities Management won this tender and was awarded a three-year TFM contract - as well as subsequent extensions.

By working closely with senior Xerox management at strategic, tactical and operational levels, we have provided the expertise and support to enable the company vision to be realised. We have played a particularly valuable role in challenging the status quo and suggesting improvements to quality service delivery through innovation.
