Our spillage kits provide a safe and simple solution for dealing with various types of spillages.
Each kit contains everything you need for effective cleaning and safe disposal of waste, helping to reduce the risk of cross infection.
Spills of cytotoxic drugs on wards, in Oncology departments or in pharmacies during preparation can be problematic. To deal with these spills safely and effectively our cytotoxic drug spillage kit provides all the necessary equipment.
The CT-Zorb granules are inert and quickly and absorb all the moisture, containing the spill and preventing any further spreading. Then simply collect the granules and spilt matter and dispose of according to local procedure using the other items supplied in the kit.
For hospital wards, laboratories, clinics or doctors' surgeries an unexpected spillage of blood or other body fluid, is both distressing and potentially dangerous. Our Biohazard spill kits allow the hazard to be dealt with quickly, efficiently and above all safely.
Our Biohazard spill kits are designed to enable staff to conform to the recommendations of the Department of Health for the safe collection and disposal of blood and blood-stained body fluid spills.
Although unpleasant, spills of urine or vomit do not present the same high risk of viral infection as blood or other body fluids. Using chlorine-based chemicals on urine can produce particularly unpleasant odours, and when used on vomit may give off extra chlorine gas.
Our Urine & Vomit Spills Kit is not chlorine based and so better suited for dealing with such spills. The NQ64 granules quickly and effectively absorb the liquid, allowing the granules and any solid matter to be easily collected and then removed to the clinical waste sack. The alcohol surface wipes can then be used to disinfect the area.
This unique granular formulation makes dealing with urine or vomit spills a simple task that can be completed with a minimum of training or supervision. Also, the NQ64 granules won’t bleach soft furnishings or fabrics.
